FTS's program director and owner Art Field's has personally lead consulting projects for many flexographic printing operations, from "turnaround projects," to "new operation expansion projects" and others as noted below. All consulting services from FTS come with a guarantee that if you're not satisfied with the outcomes, we'll refund your money. However, there is one condition to this guarantee. Other than "review and recommend projects," FTS only gets involved in business systems consulting with the one condition that FTS be fully responsible and accountable for every input variable involved in the process. Having this authority, we will guarantee results!

Consulting fees: Daily $950.00 FTS members, $1500.00 non-member. Project cap pricing is available, depending on the nature of the project.

PRODUCTION PROGRAM:

FTS offers a production system implementation consulting package that covers everything from training customer service to proper packaging / shipping…encompassing pre-press, on-press, and press room maintenance. This proven production system provides assessment of personnel, positions, job responsibilities, administration paper flow, scheduling, and a detailing optimization process for each area of operation.

The whole process takes three to six months to implement, depending on the size and nature of the printing process involved and includes 3-4 weeks of FTS direct staff time to facilitate the process.

FTS will provide all paper flow working templates, documentation of job descriptions and system accountabilities, plus provide the training to bring it all together.

LIVE PRODUCTION:

This service is available only to FTS member companies, and provides invaluable production insight for your management team. With each job run, we can provide you with excellent comparative feedback benchmarking, providing you objective data as to how your operational process stands against the one used at the school. This of course provides you with measures of performance other than "the competitive selling price" that your production team can compare itself against in an ongoing effort to improve your manufacturing system. Whether it's comparing press speeds achievable, quality levels, ink consumption or waste percentages, we can provide you with excellent data to determine profit opportunities that may be available to you.

This service is only available to members for student training purposes. Cost is $95.00 per 12,000' with a minimum billing of $95.00 for Charter Members and $110.00 per 12,000' with a minimum billing of $110.00 for Client Members.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT:

Most everyone knows if we're not improving things in our manufacturing process on an ongoing basis, we're actually falling behind some competitors who are doing things faster and better.
